Webster County’s Darrian McNary gets one more shot at playing against top-notch high school competition before she graduates in May.
The senior standout guard has been selected to play in the inagural Region 1 vs. Region 2 Senior All-Star basketball game set for April 19 at Graves County High School in Mayfield. Tipoff is at 10 a.m.
McNary led the Lady Trojans in scoring this season, including a career-high 31 points against Christian County on Feb. 24. She was named to the All-Region team last month for the second straight year as was as being All-District three concecutive seasons.
Other Second Region selections include: Punkin McNary (Madisionville-North), J’Lynn Majors and Haley Cook (Hopkinsville); Meg Starling and Demetra Snorton (University Heights Academy); Danika Prater (Christian County); Doninique Smith (Union County); Kaitlin Gilkey (Caldwell County); Hailee Lampley (Livingston Central) and Jill P’Poole (Lyon County).
