Webster County High School girls’ golf team keeps improving and making history along the way. After posting the school’s best-ever team score last week, the Lady Trojans captured the first team win in school history last Thursday, topping Ohio County 197-203 in Beaver Dam.
Cassidy Thomas carded a 4-over-par 40 to earn medalist honors and lead the WC squad. Ashley Henry finished her round with a 47 while Macye Davis fired a 51. Elizabeth Waller completed the Webster scoring with a 59.
The Lady Trojans are back in action on Saturday, traveling to Madisonville Community Golf Club for the Hopkins County Central Invitational.
