Ballard Memorial remains unbeaten, bombs Trojans

The Bombers of Ballard Memorial scored over 42 points for their fourth straight game to man-handled Webster County 64-27 Friday night in Barlow, KY.
Ballard (4-0) raced out to a 20-0 lead in the first quarter and looked to blow the game wide open. But the Trojans showed some fight and reeled off back-to-back touchdowns to close the gap to 20-14.

Sophomore quarterback Dilon Baty enjoyed a career night passing, connecting 10-of-22 passes in the game for 183 yards, including three touchdown passes. One of those was a 72-yard bomb to Jammin Warren to cut the BM lead to 20-14 in the first minute of the second quarter.
After another Ballard touchdown, the Trojans scored their third TD of the first half, a 25-yard scoring strike to Ethan Drury, setting the score at 26-21. But that would be as close as Webster to get as the Bombers erupted for 38 straight points in the second half to earn a commanding 64-21 bulge. Webster scored its final touchdown on a 2-yard by Baty with 1:01 left in the game.
