WC Tennis opens season against Hopkinsville

Webster County tennis teams, under the direction of new head coach Mary Crouse Schalk, opened the 2014 season last Thursday hosting Hopkinsville.
The visiting Tiger squads proved to be too much for the young WCHS teams to handle. Hopkinsville won all of the boys’ singles matches and downed the Lady Trojans in all singles and doubles matches.

Webster lone victory came in doubles action as Ben Brumfiel and Trey Chancellor teamed for a convincing 6-1, 6-2 victory over Aaron Shaw and Davis Dyle.
