Lady Trojans split soccer matches with Rockets

Webster County Lady Trojan soccer team improved to 6-5-1 last week, splitting a pair of matches, including a 5-2 win over Crittenden County.

WC sophomore Brooke Clark led the charge in Monday’s victory with a goal in each half. Lindsey Grant, Kaylee Pratt and Flor Salazar also had goals in the triumph.
Pratt also led the WC girls with two assists while Lindsey Grant and Chelsey McVay added one assist each.
Webster ran into a strong Caldwell County squad on Tuesday and the Lady Tigers snapped the Lady Trojans’ three-game winning streak with an 8-3 victory.
Trailing 5-0, Webster mounted a comeback bid behind goals two goals from Lindsey Grant and one from Flor Salazar. Grant added one assist while Salazar assisted Grant on both of her goals.
Webster County will travel to Todd County Central on Thursday and then back on the to Owensboro on Saturday to tangle with Apollo.
